EXCL. - John Henry Deighton - the London born soul singer known as Chris Farlowe - has long been highly rated by his fellow artists. When Chris signed to Andrew Oldham’s Immediate label as a solo artist, he was much encouraged by the Rolling Stones. Farlowe enjoyed a hit single with the driving Think in 1966, and the song takes pride of place on this, his second album, released the same year. Amongst the 12 bonus tracks, we can hear the Otis Redding influence on performances like In The Midnight Hour and Mr. Pitiful, and this collection brings back happy memories of the great Sixties’ soul scene. Remastered and packaged in a digipack, with extensive liner notes.
