January 27 street date. DELUXE VINYL EDITION "When the Punks Go Marching in" is the 1982 debut album by punk legends Abrasive Wheels. Hailing from Leeds, the band were seldom out of the Independent charts between 1980 and 1984 when the band split. It's a very youthful-sounding album, littered with barely concealed influences (the "Holidays in the Sun" guitar on "First Rule [No Rule]" is a dead giveaway), but there's no denying either the quality or the fervency of the music and, by the time you hit the title track, a partial take on the old "When the Saints Go Marching In," exhaustion is the least of your emotions. For fans of CHRON GEN, THE PARTISANS and CHAOS UK. 140 GRAM CLEAR VINYL. 1000 ONLY LIMITED EDITION.
June 16 street date. From Radio Moscow’s drummer Paul Marrone and his brother Vincent A Marrone a great record: 10 brand new awesome tracks for fans of Cream- Jimi Hendrix-Radio Moscow-Cactus-Blue Cheer-MC5-Buffalo Killers. Cosmic Wheels is Paul and Vincent Marrone. From the ashes of their first band together - where they were known as The Moonshakers with the addition of their older brother Joe - came a new name and a new sound. Recorded in 2007, presented here is a collection of rough and unfinished tracks from their Cosmic Wheels sessions. Late ’60s to early ’70s is the name of the game here; riffs aplenty with a copious dose of heavy psych. That’s definitely not the whole story though, as the listener is treated to seasonings of jazzy goodness, as well as the odd helping of heavy blues-rock. There are clear nods to some of the brothers’ most cherished influences in there too. If six words is all one had to describe this album, they would be ‘Heavy Psych Rock Orgasmic Brain Burner’, simple as that! Released in 200 Ltd Orange Fluo Vinyl / Black Vinyl.

He grew up in Bogotá, Columbia during the 1990s, surrounded by the radial punk scene. He has been working with many electronic projects since 2003. He manages the label Black Leather Records, which is also a regular party with live acts and DJ sets. Over the years, Victor's passion and fascination for synthesizers and drum machines to produce and compose resulted in various digital-only releases as well as his first vinyl release, an EP on Gooiland Elektro. Cute Heels is ready to release their debut album "Spiritual" of all new material written throughout 2013. "Spiritual", rides the line between cold electro-techno and left field electronic body music. Inspired by equal parts Liaisons Dangereuses and Drexciya, "Spiritual" takes the listener on a journey over 8 tracks and 40 minutes of music. Cute Heels has been called ''the new blood and spirit for the next step in techno music'' by electro/techno pioneer Juan Atkins. Listening to "Spiritual" you can see why. The songs on this full length reveal a sublime influence from Detroit techno, early Chicago house and new wave. Advanced electronics for the dance floor, pumping and sophisticated. The album was recorded and mixed by Victor at Sensorium Studio in Zagreb, Croatia in November 2013. Each song has been mastered for vinyl at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley by GEORGE HORN. Each LP is packaged in a custom-made jacket by our in-house designer Eloise Leigh and incorporates the geometry of analog synthesizers and celestial rose patterns

He grew up in Bogotá, Columbia during the 1990s, surrounded by the radial punk scene. Over the years, Victor's passion and fascination for synthesizers and drum machines to produce and compose resulted in his debut album “Spiritual" for Dark Entries in 2014 as well as the “Third Skin” EP in 2016. Inspired by equal parts Liaisons Dangereuses, Drexciya and Black Devil Disco Club, Cute Heels connects the dots between Detroit techno, early Chicago house and Belgium electronic body music. “State of Mind” is a 4-track EP featuring the vocal talents of Berlin artist Aga Wilk, of electro-punk projects Walkman Music and 77TM, on the the title track. On the A-side are two fresh compositions recorded in New York and Bogota between 2016 and 2017. Victor says, “State of Mind refers to the subconscious as dominated by real facts, natural, unnatural ,metaphysical or virtual and dynamism of the body as physical shield.” The track is a slow building foray into techno, elegantly suited for intangible moments. “Golden Tears” kicks off with Cute Heels’ signature metallic EBM funk played with punchy, percussive analog synths. On the flip we present two banging club remixes. The first is from LA-4A, techno DJ and producer Kevin McHugh aka Ambivalent, who adds a strong kick drum and lacerating hi-hats that build up to a mind melting breakdown with a full on acid squelch attack. The second remix comes from Noncompliant, Midwest US-based producer Lisa Smith aka DJ Shiva, who creates a raw, thumping exercise though off-kilter mechanics and punishing percussion.
January 28 street date. Eels have had one of the most consistently acclaimed careers in music. The ever-changing project of principal singer/songwriter E (Mark Oliver Everett), Eels have released thirteen studio albums since their 1996 debut, "Beautiful Freak". During the height of the pandemic lockdown in early 2021, E got an out of the blue message from Mark Romanek, director of the first Eels video, "Novocaine For the Soul". It triggered him to reach out to John Parish, who was in between numerous projects and immediately got to work in his HonorSound studio in Bristol and began sending ideas to E. "I'd sneak out of bed at 4 in the morning to hear the latest thing John had sent, and try to add my part to it and get it back to him quickly before my 4 year old son woke up," E says. The resulting album is "Extreme Witchcraft".

April 22 street date. THE CAUTIONARY TALES OF MARK OLIVER EVERETT, is an extraordinarily vivid and intimate document of a personal struggle. "It's inspired by something I went though," Everett says. "Someone I lost, by choice, and later came to regret losing. It wasn't until I started to look at my role in it that it began to feel like I was getting somewhere worthwhile. The experience transformed me. This is the musical version of that experience. I'm hoping it could maybe serve as some sort of example for others. To learn from my mistakes." Quite different to the previous EELS release, and in contrast to the high-octane rock n' roll of the last EELS tour, THE CAUTIONARY TALES couples a bare-bones lyrical intimacy with a live orchestra of cello, viola, violins, bassoon, English and French horn, clarinet, flute, saxophone, trumpet, musical saw, glockenspiel and celesta that lends a stunning backdrop to the brutal insights of the lyrics.

November 25 street date. Cleveland’s electric eels (all lower case in homage to poet e.e. cummings) is America’s quintessential proto-punk band. Formed in 1972 by singer Dave E. McManus and guitarists John Morton and Brian McMahon, the group enlisted drummer Nick Knox (later of The Cramps) and producer Paul Marotta to record a flurry of catchy and genuinely fucked-up tunes. After only five legendary live performances- complete with Dave E. in black leather jacket covered in rat-traps and playing a gas-powered lawnmower on stage- the eels broke up in 1976 and posthumously released their classic single Agitated on Rough Trade in 1978, blazing a trail for high-art, low-concept rock. As Jon Savage writes in the liner notes, "There is something heroic about the eels’ isolation and uncompromising attitude: a fierceness that you can hear in these songs that still resonates in a different time and world." This archival LP collects the eels’ best material from 1974-75. From the loud and snotty 'Agitated' and its Bside 'Cyclotron' (which Johan Kugelberg listed as #1 in his top 100 punk singles) to the anarchic anthem 'Jaguar Ride' and the loose, bluesy sludge of 'Anxiety', the album exorcises the demonic power of the Stooges and Velvets and captures the mystique of these outsider artists inventing a new language. As the eels demand 'Attendance Required' on their flyer for the infamous Special Extermination Music Night, listening is absolutely mandatory for this seminal band. Recommended for fans of Dead Boys, Simply Saucer and Pagans.
November 25 street date. Following their legendary punk-as-ever Agitated single, electric eels released their second posthumous single, Spin Age Blasters / Bunnies, on Mustard Records in 1981. Recorded in 1975 and taking the band’s free-form jazz and art rock alliances to dizzying extreme, the twin-guitar swirl of 'Spin Age Blasters' sounds like Trout Mask Replica on paint fumes, while 'Bunnies' features Dave E.’s relaxing Bob-Ross-like vocals and frantic clarinet bursts à la Roscoe Mitchell. This first-time vinyl reissue includes original cover artwork by eels’ guitarist John Morton and is pressed in a limited edition of 1,000 copies.

February 1 street date. One of the loudest acts of their time, this Detroit-based power trio made only one album, which stands as a lost proto-metal classic. A product of the same scene that spawned The Stooges and MC5, they play raw and dirty on a superb selection of self-penned material, as well as a molten cover of blues staple "Red Rooster." Unusually, the LP (originally released in June 1971) combines live and studio recordings, perfectly showcasing their inventive take on crunching hard rock and searing power ballads. Finally available on CD once again, with background notes.
Hell on Heel’s second album, Dogs, Records & Wine, was produced and engineered in by Jack Endino (Mudhoney, Nirvana) The tough-girl vocals, gritty guitar sound, and vaguely psychedelic organ that permeates tracks like "Send Him" and "Made Like No Other," fondly recall the sixties punk inspired sound of the early Pandoras. The songs themselves contain an infectious pop sensibility. In addition to lead singer Paula Monarch’s voice, bassist Chela sings lead on "C’mon Turn Me On", keyboardist Helene (member of Tucson’s Okmonics) sings “Matter of Time” and cover of Lulus’ "I’ll Come Runnin’. Original bad girl Nikki Corvette provides guest vocals on "Pretty Mess." "What I wanted to do was make a record that sounded like some freaky love-child of Paula Pierce and Dave Vanian with Mary Weiss as my step-sister," says Paula "and here it is." Guest vocals by Nikki Corvette For fans of: 60s garage, The Pandoras, Nikki and the Corvettes

May 27 street date. A true sound innovator, Domenico Ferrari aka High Heels Breaker used analog electronics to create the sound textures for his new tracks and blended them with sophisticated beats. Inspired by soul, techno and hip-hop, he has developed a unique sound with a futuristic touch. Zurich-based DJ Kalabrese and singer/songwriter Sarah Palin, with her exceptional voice, signed on as guest musicians. High Heels Breaker brings plenty of electronics and fat beats to his live sets and gets the crowds dancing until their heels break. Ferrari's focus is concentrated on electronic aspects in music and he also works as a composer for movie scores, visual artists and contemporary dance companies and teaches composition and producing at Zurich University of Arts. Besides High Heels Breaker, Ferrari also produces for the electronic duo Ferrari & Tomasi. He has worked with Jamie Lidell, Kalabrese, Swiss rappers Big Zis and Skor, among others, and performed at Sónar Barcelona with spoken-word poet Latasha N. Diggs and star drummer Jojo Mayer. High Heels Breaker performs his live sets "solo" or as a "live band," including drums, keys, electronics and visuals. Domenico Ferrari grew up as the son of Italian immigrants in Zurich, where his parents ran a restaurant. Following his music studies, Ferrari lived in Zurich, New York, and Rome. He won an award providing him with support to work for one year from Zurich, is a member of the Istituto Svizzero Roma, and has received a composition contract from Pro Helvetia. He became a father at a relatively young age and has been involved moving between club music and composition jobs since then, between party and family life. The successful musician has succeeded in reconciling his life's different aspects and emerges strengthened from an initially challenging situation. This, and a certain composure are reflected on this album and Ferrari demonstrates that he is still one of the most trend-setting artists in contemporary electronic music.

November 12 street date. Italian heartthrobs MISS CHAIN & THE BROKEN HEELS return once again to American shores. After four singles that sold out in a flash, an album for one of the most prestigious power-pop labels already in its second pressing, rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic, two US tours and lots of dates all across Europe, Miss Chain & The Broken Heels return with The Dawn. Having already sold out of the first pressing on Austria's Bachelor Records, the album now sees a US vinyl release here on Dusty Medical. The Dawn stems from the common effort of the band together with producer PIERLUIGI BALLARIN (The R's) at T.U.P. Studio in Brescia (Italy). Two weeks of live recordings on tape to capture the joy of experimenting in a studio yielded a perfect blend of warm, thick and surrounding sound: it is a complex record that deploys a vast array of sounds, so deep that sometimes you find yourself drifting away with your eyes closed, totally immersed in a mixture of country, rhythm'n'blues, pop and Beatlesesque melodies, surrounded by dreamy landscapes, sometimes even bordering on psychedelia. References to Sixties melodies and sunshine pop are the ideal framing for a record whose sound and content is at the same moment timeless and steeped in the contemporary, the soundtrack to an internal journey which contemplates life and its baggage but it's not afraid of its dark corners. Limited to 300 copies.
