Please note new street date: June 5. Late last year the British producer and songwriter shared the stage with the Grammy-winning Metropole Orkest and conductor Hans Ek for the opening night of Amsterdam Dance Event. Combining SOHN’s signature glacial electronics with the 54 person-strong orchestra, the one-off live performance at celebrated Dutch venue Melkweg brought to life his best-known songs such as ‘The Wheel’, ‘Conrad’ and ‘Artifice’. SOHN says, “It was an incredible opportunity to work with the Metropole on sculpting a very special evening in Amsterdam - the arrangements elevated the songs to another dimension, and luckily we recorded it all…. The album ended up being more than just a live record to me, it’s somehow a hybrid of dry electronics and rich orchestration and I’m very proud of how it turned out.” Please note: this will no longer be issued as a Record Store Day release.
January 13 street date. Two years after the release of his celebrated debut album Tremors, SOHN is back with the follow-up, along with new song ‘Conrad’ and 2017 tour dates. The London-born artist has traded Vienna for the warmth of Los Angeles, but the influence of his former home still lingers (Rennen is a German verb meaning ‘to run’). Resuming a nocturnal schedule – as he did with Tremors – SOHN spent a month writing alone in northern California, recording until the morning most days. The ten songs of Rennen are confidently direct and focused. Consciously exercising restraint SOHN used only a handful of musical elements on each track, eager to allow the spotlight to shine on the vocals, melodies and rhythms.

November 4 street date. "Trust" marks a seismic shift in perception and direction for SOHN, echoing his new responsibility as the father of three children, and a relocation to the pine forests of Catalunya, Spain. "I felt this kind of openness I hadn't felt before, and I realised I couldn't do it alone anymore - I was missing community and friendship in life and the creative process", he says. Community, intimacy, family, and openness are key themes on "Trust" as the British producer reflects on his past life (in Vienna on ‘Figureskating, Neusiedlersee’) and present reality (on ‘Montardit’, ‘Segre’). By opening up his creative process to others, SOHN invites the listener to experience his most intimate and personal work to date. "On "Tremors" [his debut album] it was like I was behind glass, but "Trust" feels like you could be sat in that room, and not just with me; you're sitting in this room with me, some musicians, some friends".
