Created during a particularly tumultuous time in Nutzman's life that involved drug abuse, bank fraud, and a house fire, it's unsurprising that "Bulli" would echo Velvet Negroni's present state of mind. Though while feeling anticipatory, frantic, and manic, its songs still glimmer with a pop sheen, as its fragmentary soundscapes meld leftfield electronic sounds with alternative rock, power pop, even tender R&B and deft hip-hop. "Bulli" will be available on CD and black vinyl, with the latter format to include four exclusive additional tracks, ‘Beginner’, ‘Repedo’, ‘Legal Tender’, and ‘Over’.
