September 4 street date. Debut 45 from Durand Jones & The Indications. Produced by Blake Rhein and the Indications while they were attending Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Dirty drums, great vocals, funky organ and guitar, horns, what more could you ask for??
February 24 street date. After a strong debut in 2016, Durand Jones & The Indications are hitting the road this spring with a new 45 from their debut LP. The lead album cut, “Make A Change” is powerful message soul at its finest! Never more powerful and never more relevant! Meanwhile, the B-side is a cookin’ lowrider soul jam featuring the sweet falsetto of drummer Aaron Frazer. A two-sided burner.
May 25 street date. The first new material from Durand Jones & The Indications since their debut LP was released in July of 2016! And man, they didn’t disappoint! Two covers from the Numero catalog that are earth shattering. “You And Me”, a tune originally by Penny & The Quarters is reinterpreted by the current kings of sweet soul, with drummer Aaron Frazer taking the lead on this one.
May 1 street date. Durand Jones & the Indications aren’t looking backwards. Helmed by foil vocalists in Durand Jones and drummer Aaron Frazer, the Indications conjure the dynamism of Jackie Wilson, Curtis Mayfield, AND the Impressions. Even with an aesthetic steeped in the golden, strings-infused dreaminess of early ‘70s soul, the Indications’ sophomore LP, American Love Call, is planted firmly in the present, with the urgency of this moment in time.

October 18 street date. When Durand Jones & The Indications released their sophomore LP, "American Love Call", there was a bundle version of the album available that included a bonus 7" with "Morning In America" on the A-side and a true bonus B-side, "Cruisin' To The Park." That B-side, an homage to lowriders everywhere, has become a theme for a whole new generation of sweet soul lovers. So we are proud to present this heater of a 45.
July 30 street date / August 27 for cassette. "Private Space", Durand Jones & The Indications' third album, is a previously untapped vibe at the heart of The Indications. Pushing beyond the boundaries of the funk and soul on their previous releases, "Private Space" unlocks the door to a wider range of sounds and launches boldly into a world of synthy modern soul and disco beats dotted with strings. It's an organic, timeless record that's as fresh as clean kicks and familiar as your favorite well-worn LP. Developed after being apart for much of the year, "Private Space" is creatively explosive and delights in upending expectations. Its 10 tracks are both an escapist fantasy and a much-needed recentering after a tumultuous 2020. Throughout, The Indications highlight a collective resiliency - as well as the power of a good song to be a light in the darkness. Durand Jones & The Indications have long provided the soulful soundtrack for such deep thoughts, both on stage and on your turntable. But as the world slowly resets from the chaos of the past year, "Private Space" is arriving at just the right time.
